進口立式軸流泵安裝方式：
單基礎：電機與泵直聯安裝在一個基礎層上，吐出口在基礎層之上；
雙基礎：電機與泵安裝在各自的基礎層上，吐出口在泵基礎層之上。
2、泵的下部浸沒在水中，吸入形式為垂直向下的喇叭口吸入，吸入水池為濕坑式，吐出口傾斜或水平伸出。
3、葉輪的葉片可做成不可調、半調節、全調節形式。
4、泵的導軸承可選用填充聚四氟乙烯、橡膠、賽龍等材料。
5、小型泵的軸向推理由泵本身承受，大、中型泵的軸向推力由電機承受。
6、軸封為填料密封結構。
7、泵葉輪為單級。
