選型步驟及注意事項
1、首先要準確了解泵的實際工作參數，如壓力、流量、介質的工作溫度及介質在工作溫度下的粘度、介質有無潤滑性、腐蝕性等；
2、根據介質在工作溫度下的粘度初步選擇泵的轉速，一般粘度小于300mm2/s，選擇n=1450r/min比較適合，當粘度大于300mm2/s，請慎重考慮泵的必需汽蝕余量，以免泵產生振動；
3、從泵的性能表上，按所需流量、壓力等參數初步選擇泵的規格；
4、從泵的必需汽蝕表（P15）上，根據泵的規格、轉速、粘度查出泵的必需汽蝕余量
NPSHr值；
5、如果泵的必需汽蝕余量NPSHr值小于管道裝置的汽蝕余量NPSHa值，那么泵選型正確；如果泵的必需汽蝕余量NPSHr值大于管道裝置的汽蝕余量NPSHa值，則要選擇大一檔的泵或是降低轉速，并重新校合NPSHr值。
NPSHr ≤ NPSHa+K（一般情況安全裕度 K取0.3—0.5m）
6、選定泵的規格后，在對應的粘度下，從表中查出此規格泵在工作壓力下△P下的流量與軸功率N1，選配電機功率N2，N2 ≥ K·N1。
